What good supply looks like
Three examples of the problems customers bring us, and what changed afterwards.
Supply continuity through a market shortage
The problem
A shortage in the glucose syrup market left the customer with three weeks of stock and no obvious alternative. A missed run would have meant cancelled orders with two major retailers.
What we did
We qualified an alternative producer within days, arranged trial material for the customer’s technical team and moved the requirement onto a new supply line without a break in production.

Reducing input cost without changing the product
The problem
Input costs had risen across the sweetener basket and the customer needed to protect margin without reformulating or re-running shelf life trials.
What we did
We reviewed the specification line by line, found two grades that exceeded what the product actually needed, and re-sourced against the lower specification with the same documentation.

One supplier instead of three
The problem
The customer bought sugars, dairy and starches from three suppliers, with three sets of paperwork, three delivery schedules and three invoices to reconcile every month.
What we did
We consolidated the basket onto a single supply agreement with scheduled deliveries and one set of specifications and certificates, so the quality team audited one supplier instead of three.
